Help Children Africa is a UK-based Children’s Charity & Non-Profit Organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children across Africa. More than just a charity, we are a growing community of people committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to live with dignity, safety, and hope.
Our journey began when our founder, C. Bicknel, visited a small village in Kenya and witnessed first-hand the challenges children faced in accessing basic necessities such as food, education, healthcare, and clean water. What she saw was not just hardship, but resilience — and a clear need for action.
Motivated to make a meaningful difference, Bicknel returned to the United Kingdom and brought together a group of like-minded individuals who shared a common vision: a world where every child, regardless of where they are born, has the chance to thrive. What started as a small initiative has grown into Help Children Africa, a dedicated non-profit organisation supporting children and communities across the African continent.
Our mission is to empower children and communities through sustainable child welfare and poverty relief initiatives. We work to ensure that every child can reach their full potential by providing food aid, nutrition support, education programmes, school meals, access to healthcare, child protection, and safeguarding for girls.
We envision a future where children across Africa have access to the resources they need to lead healthy, educated, and fulfilling lives. By working closely with local partners, schools, and communities, we deliver clean water projects, support for orphans, and community development initiatives.
